I'm all for that, shake things up a lil bit new eyes, new blood. :)

This is not a well coached team. Announcers are talking about how the players are playing with no sense of urgency. ESPN talks like we are has beens. All put together, creates fan concern. Folks we have 7 five stars. We were picked to be a lock for the 2016 final four. Rolling with the present Holly lead team, we will be lucky to make it to the sweet 16. Coaches are accountable for the failure or success of the team they coach, that is a fact of life.

Yeah, it's not looking good. Was hoping Holly could be a coach who could bring back that "Pat magic". Well the season is not over yet and Holly is still the coach so...

I have said this time after time. I talked to Pat at the SEC tourney in Little Rock a few years ago and that's exactly what she said about her team at that time. They like to win but they don't hate losing. It doesn't eat away at them inside. That is what Pat was all about. She HATED losing.

So, we're in the start of season play, beginning conference play hopefully the women understands with our schedule and or conference, there are no days off, there is no coasting or getting by with our schedule, against every team, you have to bring it, night in or night out or its a lost, all of this will prepare us for the postseason tho, now the process of going through the grind, might not look good, but all I ask is we better fight, we better play hard. If a team beat us, they beat us, that's fine but we don't beat ourselves by a lack of effort.

Some of these ladies are learning what it takes to be a Lady Vols for the first time, and prolly now are starting to grasp the kind of schedule we play, and the expectations, you can't take a game off, and they are learning the hard way. Will they embrace it?

It's Mercedes first full season. Diamond first year. Cooper first year. In a lot of ways Middleton, Dunbar first year. The only players that have played significant minutes are Reynolds, who we know should be better. Carter, looks like she's settling in as lead guard, she may takes some bumps along the way, expected. Graves, wuteva. lol Jasmine is coming back from a year off, out now and Nared missed the first 10, 12 games. I have to remember that some time. Our team hasn't had a lot of time on the court together, which I see as a positive. In all actuality we should have started season ranked at this spot 10-15.

Which recruit in next year's class is a game changer? Really?? like we really miss something but a body, and some of the best players wasn't even in the top 10.

No more of recruiting just cos we need a body, we use what we have and maximize there's more than one way to skin a cat, yes it not traditional, but it doesn't make it poor.

Lady Vols fans are like in the twilight zone of Patneasia, or somethin'. Hello, there is a new era in Lady Vols basketball, and we gone see how it works before we just toss it aside, no matter how much it looks like we have, talent with no effort is a waste, and if it was so easy it would be more coaches winning Championship, two coaches have 18 Championships or four coaches have won 22, out of the 365 coaches. ijs. Its a matter of perspective, and this season might not end the way I may had hoped, but I rather look for the good and positives than expecting the worse. Hey but that's just me but I will ***** and groan cos I hate losses, ugh it can **** my day, night, week, sometimes til the next game... lol

Wuteva, please with all that darkness and that cliff, can you please press yo foot harder on on the gas... vroooooomm....oooooooooh.....crash and burn! Big explosion!

Keep on rolling but if this team does not improve, I am positive that the explosion you will be hearing is you and Holly going over the cliff in a gasoline truck filled with gas. I think Holly already has her foot on the gas, happy rolling. To even remotely think that a lack of 2016 recruits will not have an adverse effect on this team is unrealistic. We need at least two good JC post/wing recruits and maybe one good graduate recruit that has one good year left in them.

Those that are being laughed at are homers such as yourself who lick Holly's boots. She can't coach and now she can't recruit. This is the worst players and coaches in the girls history and that is a fact by any measure.If Holly cared anything about the girls basketball team she would resign immediately. They are a joke

Sir with all due respect we are has beens and it will only get worse because Holly isn't going anywhere. Just a laughing stock to the rest of the conference but for myself I'm quite upset

Why do you have to be like that? geewago was just asking a question as an interested WCBB fan. Many fans of other teams are wondering the same thing. There's no need for you to be so disrespectful to visitors when they don't deserve it. Just because you're not happy with how your team is playing at the moment is not a good reason to be rude to people. Not every visitor that comes to this board is looking to flame. If they're being respectful, you should be as well.

Its okay to disagree with a fans opinion. I disagree with many who post in this forum and choose to label the coaches and team. If someone can call team members lazy and call for the coaches firing, it is my right to disagree and to do it in a public forum. If you knew anything about me, you would not call me a boot licker and certainly not to my face.

I agree with your assessment. We have no 2016 commitments and we are coming undone!

Do you think Holly even recognizes what is happening. She takes no responsibility at all!!!

After the horrible lose to Florida she states in her post game interview that we lost to a good team who played hard!! Florida is not a good team. What is she thinking?

I never thought I would see the day come when we just do not care how shameful we look.

Do not know if I will attend anymore games. It is so painful!!

You guys are something else. Pat said that her players loved to win but didn't hate to loss, well welcome to 2016. In 1980s and 1990s the attitudes were different. Holly is not dealing with the same player attitude as Pat did. You even quoted Pat saying her players at the end of her coaching career didn't hate losing. This trend of losing started on Pat's watch but because she is so loved by all, me included, she got a pass and now Holly is answering for it. The Lady Vols are not the only ranked team to lose to an unranked team this year and won't be the last. Move on. Holly isn't going to get fired with the number of wins she has her first 3 years along with the SEC regular season and tournament championships.

That was he first time we won all four quarters all year.

That is the first time we held a team to zero transition points.
