can be a big help--and they sometimes crucial. But you can win without a big post if your forwards have some size and you at talented at the other positions. Does this year's UConn team have a good post? They have posts but they are certainly not the strength of the team, at all. Who was the post on our great '98 team? We at lots of talent at other positions--and that was a running team. Anosike was a dominant rebounding and defensive post--very athletic. Yes, it would be nice to find another player like her!
Again, you're equating Pat BUILDING the program to Holly being handed a bench full of McDonalds All Americans. You did all that research and it proves nothing. Look at Pat's record after the Lady Vols moved to the SEC, not when she was driving the team around in a cargo van. You cannot compare Holly to Pat, but you're trying really hard to do that.
Simple question: Based on your post, are you implying Holly is as good as Pat was? Is your LV koolaid that rich?
