We're holding our own, for sure, and have had some countering opportunities--but not doing enough with them. Poor crosses by Nelson, as usual; too much dribbling by Simmonds. Nobody is shooting the ball. Simmonds just doesn't have the overall skill level and decision-making that good center-forwards have. Lawton playing well as are our mids. Price is struggling. Every time Michel passes her
the ball, she gets pressed and loses the ball along the touchline. Renie makes me nervous and now Kirt has put Washington in the game.
I think the SEC is a better conference than the Big10, and our conference experience is showing tonight, even though we're not
an especially good team overall. Meaning we can win this game if we stay active and focused.
