A top tier high school player for sure. Hope she does well! Probably fell for the Alabama facade - remember, Alabama is a 5th year covid team (it's not real). However, the net gain is that the fake record probably helped with recruiting. Katie Shae Collins (going to South Carolina) is actually the better player and going to a better program. Hope they both do well. One of the two players did their research and picked the right school. And, why would an informed player and their family, pick a school that seeks out 5th year players and gives preference to seniors that shouldnt be on the field.

South Carolina’s Katie Shea Collins, a freshman forward from Gallatin, Tenn., made her way into the starting lineup to begin SEC play and scored her fifth goal of the season against Kentucky. Collins has played 70+ minutes in both SEC matches and leads her team in shots on goal, converting on a key penalty kick for the Gamecocks’ win against the Wildcats.

FSU postponed their Thursday match with Clemson until Friday. I imagined the Gators will do something similar.


In the meantime, South Carolina has moved up their kickoff with Mississippi State to Thursday at noon

Tennessee’s Soccer Match at Florida Postponed​

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Thursday's Tennessee at Florida soccer match is postponed due to the anticipated impact of Hurricane Helene on the Gainesville area.

The potential hurricane is expected to hit the Gainesville area Thursday, causing the match between the two league rivals to be postponed. The date of the rescheduled match is yet to be set.

Both teams continue Southeastern Conference play on Sunday.

Sunday, Sept. 29
Vanderbilt at Tennessee - 4 p.m. ET
Florida at Missouri - 6 p.m. ET

A couple of games have been moved up because of the weather.
#11 Mississippi State @ #15 South Carolina at noon should be a good one.
