Great decision to pinch hit. :disappointed:

That was a horrible choice in my book. I thought that pinch hitters were at least supposed to swing at the strikes.

The number nine hitter!?

Give me a break!

Down 2 going into the bottom of the 7th...... 15K's but one very ugly homerun for Monica tonight.

That's two straight years that we have been the 8-seed, upset the 1-seed, and then lost the second game.

My prediction is that NW is going to win it all. They seem to have luck on their side this year.

I'd never doubt anything OWB says about women's softball.

The Lady Vols will play on Saturday at 7pm Eastern against the winner of the game between Oregon St-Arizona St, whom play at 12 Noon Eastern Saturday.

IF the Lady Vols lost that game, they would be done.

IF The Lady Vols won that game on Saturday evening
They would have to beat Arizona TWICE in two games to advance to the Championship Series. The first game in that two game series would be Sunday at 1pm Eastern. With game two coming shortly after the finish.

Yep, I've become an expert on the subject in 3 short days. :moon2:

Did I just see our pitcher wearing eye glitter???

Yes, the makeup is out of control at this event. It sometimes looks like the players are making themselves up in between innings. Last year, I wondered if they (every team, not just UT) were aware of how often ESPN shows a close-up of the dugouts and decided to get out the makeup.

I will say this....

I would MUCH rather play the winner of Oregon St/Arizona St.....then go on and try to beat Arizona twice, than to have to beat either Alabama, Texas, or UCLA again.

IT's not impossible for the Lady Vols to make the finals.

Arizona was the 1-seed that UT upset in the first game last year. Zona will remember that, and we have to beat them twice. Yikes. I'm surprised that the Great Cat Osterman lost.

It's not because of the lack of publicity.

Texas' catcher whom they interviewed during our game sure was a looker.

Yes, she is quite the "catch".. :focus:

:D Yesterday, I can't remember which game/team it was, but they cut to a close-up of a catcher as she was taking off her catcher's mask. Maybe it was Texas. She was also without a doubt "quite the catch." :p

Well that's a tough loss to take but looking on the bright side of things...I would rather be on this side of the bracket then the other side with UCLA,Bama, and Texas!!! I like our chances one this side of the bracket we now have the best hitting team 1-9 on the this side of the bracket followed by Arizona...I have a feeling we will face Oregon State in the night cap...if we face arizona after their top 4 hitters the lineup is a little iffy...we can get to Howell I feel like
