Negative or not, he's right. Tarango had a lot of hype coming into UT and has yet to hit over .300. I hope she has a strong senior campaign.

I have to agree with the poster on Tarango she hasn't done anything since she has been here to get excited about. I sometimes wonder how she stays in the starting lineup.

Probably has something to do with Florida and Bama winning multiple SEC Championships and National Champions. In nearly 20 years UT has 1 outright SEC championship and zero National Championships. Its unfortunate but reality, we've had some great teams in those years.

looks like UT is getting short shift with the TV schedule on espn vs what Fl. Ala. and some others are getting. 8 games to 12?

They will have another solid season. The coaching of the Softball team is in very capable hands.

No way Tarango isn't in the regular batting lineup. Agree on pitching, though.

I don't necessarily concur with that. We'll have to wait and see. Some of these fresh recruits can really smack the ball-even though they are freshmen.

hopefully Gabriel is much improved this year and will earn the starting spot early on or any of them ,I don't like pitching by committee

and I can't believe they haven't even listed a radio or UT broadcast for the first game of the year yet on Uts site

hopefully something will come up,i would love to see somebody stream the game,that might be wishing for to much early in the season

The fact that we were picked eighth in the SEC is all about pitching concerns. If we get better than expected pitching we'll finish higher than eight this team can hit.
