Our offense should have done a lot more that game could have cost us. Home ump was the one at first yesterday. She is not kind to us.

The middle and bottom of their order is nothing to write home about. Ours looks good except ninth but has not done a lot all weekend. We get runners on then cannot get the big hit a lot.

Another tossup game today we'll again see their best pitcher and have to hope we hit better against her than the first time Friday. Sure we'll go with Rogers who they haven't scored many runs on, but have figured out how to hit some balls hard. The defense for Tennessee in this series has been outstanding. We need this game would greatly enhance our chances for a top four finish in the SEC.

M. Shipman who is currently an analyst/commentator on SECN's Rallycap show said she believes SEC teams have learned how to hit Rogers curve by sitting back in the box and waiting on it. She said Rogers needs to stop using the curve as much and get another go to pitch. Coming from one of the best hitters in WSB I would give it some credibility as to why she is not as dominate as she was earlier in the season. If that's the case you would like to think TN pitching coach would see this also.

early box shows Turner starting today --- if so, I expect she will be on a short leash, unless the LV bats speak early and loud

P.S. watching Mizzou this weekend makes me think it is a very good thing the LVs get them at home

I think they have decided the curve is what they can hit and wait on it but Ashley has not been as sharp on location they last few games either.
