Lady Vols vs. Arkansas Razorbacks Game Thread

They also start to stand around so the more aggressive players just say screw it and go one on one. I'm not sure they have any true idea what the offense or defensive game plan is. I know they scout. I know they watch video. I know they practice just like the team they are playing but it seems like maybe they just don't retain it all well? I truly do not know. All that said I honestly didn't think Arky could beat them or even hold a lead for this long.
They have two plays for man to man. I haven't seen a legitimate offense for the zone and this is what they see every game. They start to panic after the second pass and try's to power drive through the lane against 4 defenders. Barely see any quick swings around the perimeter or anybody continually moving, they make one cut and that's it.

The worst part is they cant even switch to a zone because they don't know how to play one effectively. When you can't play defense or shoot what do you do?.... Last think they need is an injury.

Hey Holly, I think Arkansas is going to shoot a lot of threes. You might want to try to guard them

From ESPN Brackets guy Charlie:
the loss to Alabama was the most stunning in its margin (21 points), timing (coming off three close losses) and quality of competition (the Crimson Tide entered the game at 9-8 and followed the Thursday upset with a Sunday loss to LSU). Tennessee tumbled from a No. 6 seed to a No. 10, the biggest drop of any team. Arkansas, Notre Dame and LSU loom for the Lady Vols, and anything short of 2-1 record in those games means they will need plenty of help to stay in the field.
Never have the Lady Vols failed to make the NCAAT - now a 10 seed - lose this ND & LSU & make history

That was none contact, that's not good. She got hurt on the liftoff, when she planted her foot. Please don't let it be an acl injury.
