Agreed, but there isn't much time. One more powder puff game on the 9th then Georgia Tech 2 days later. I was expecting the ladies to hold CN to about 15 points. Plus the offense was basically unopposed. It's easy to look good in games like this.

even years when the lady vols are loaded they have never held CN to 15 points...I really loved the effort and the defense this team brings this year...they were a little too unselfish at times but it was the first game...going to be fun to watch them this year

It could have been a lot worse than it was. There were several times they could have trapped on defense in the backcourt but didn't. You could see the player start to close the trap then back off and go down court. I believe they were told not to trap in this game. They didn't double team on the ball much in the front court and this was a pretty vanilla defense they put out there. They didn't show all they have. This team will have its ups and downs but I think they could be better than a lot of people think.
