Our website says we are actively seeking a new opponent for Sunday due to COVID issues at TSU. Unless something changes with Lipscomb that game should be ok. Hopefully we can find a team. Maybe Middle Tennessee or Chattanooga?

#4 NC State has a game scheduled against Miami Sunday, then doesn't play again until Dec. 31.

Wonder if they would be interested in squeezing in another game this close to Christmas? Of course, they'd have a lot more to lose than gain at this point.

It would be an intriguing matchup. Kellie assisted Moore at Chatt.; Moore replaced Kellie at State.

Doesn't help that Tennessee is the leader in Covid19 cases in the country. There's a list of the top 10 counties in the state with Covid-19. Knoxville isn't on the list.

He is absolutely not afraid for his team to play Tennessee. However, his team has far more to lose than they do to gain as it is not impossible that Tennessee could get an upset win. Texas wins and it's "Of course they did. Next." Texas falls in an upset to an unranked Tennessee? "What's wrong with Texas??? Does Vic have chemistry issues on the team? Does Texas drop in the rankings?" Given all that, it would be understandable if Texas wasn't hot to waltz with Tennessee.

Unless all of the other Top 25 teams have already beaten ranked teams themselves, I don't see how that makes sense. I'm guessing you don't want them to be ranked and then possibly drop out of the rankings with a bad loss in the future. I don't think that's fair. If they are deemed a Top 25 team this week, let them enjoy the results of their hard work and then hope they work even harder to KEEP IT.
