THat is the only reason she is starting and to some extent she has earned starting. Her approach to the slap with foot position is better that anyones on the team even though she has to step out because of where the pitch is. My theory if you cant hit you cant play much.

Rogers going to have a career day, too, if she gets to pitch another inning. LVs could run rule it here-- Hannon, Holcomb, Leach up. Maximum speed on the bases.

Hannon earns a walk to start the bottom 6th. She's called out on some kind of stupid play.
It's a head scratcher for sure but no complaints from the Weeklys.

Tenn is on fire. Two on base w/1 out. Seggren @ bat & she will get a single w/an RBI. 7-0 TN.

Bearden @ bat & she will....I thought the bat hit the glove of the catcher for interferrence.

Why did Bearden not run. Wonder if pitch was hit off her is the reason. Strange play. Never in all my years and that's a lot seen that happen!!!

I heard something that sounded like when Bearden swung & hit the ball she also hit the catchers mitt.
I was thinking that she was thinking that's what happened & she didn't run to 1st base because of it.

We're saying the same thing-- Parsons is starting because she has been hitting. I'm just not convinced she'll be starting all weekend, because her hitting has slacked off. I think Ralph will tinker tomorrow. We'll see!

OK sounds good to me. I have no doubt that Osbron and Weimer who is a senior will play and he may start Weimer for that reason. I myself would give Osbron a start behind the plate just for the experience and Phillips has not hit much!
