Lamar Scruggs

A week earlier he had said, "I would say I'm most focused on South Carolina, USF and Tennessee as of today."

If we could get Marlon Brown 4 star, Scruggs 4 star, and keep Stokes 4 star, we would have a pretty good WR class in 09.

Marlon Brown is a 4 star per rivals.

3* Prospect. We should concentrate more on 4-5* guys like Marlon Brown, Randall Carroll, Kendall Kelly, and Ashlon Jeffrey. Scruggs is very similar to Mike Green.

He's a 4 star on Rivals, but if you want to show your idiocy, keep getting hung up on stars - such as you are doing here.

A 3 star could quickly turn into a 4, or a 4 could completely tank in his senior year, but stay a 4 based on potential. The star ratings are by no means a tool you should use to evaluate talent. Watch the videos and judge for yourself, or else try to not say idiotic things.

Lol. Look at how many offers he has. Look at who is after him. I promise you that many people aren't going on a hunch. This kid is apparently talented.

Are you serious dude? Stars mean little in my eyes for some prospects. Scruggs is a great prospect for Kiffin's system. He's big, tough, physical, and can run. Ashlon Jeffrey has great hands and size but I think he's a bit overrated. Wouldn't mind seeing him play tight end for us. That's where he would cause better matchup problems. Scruggs is a receiver that will flourish in our system. Jeffrey could be a matchup nightmare though playing tight end and then going out on the edge in the redzone. I think if we get Scruggs he and Green will more than make up for what Marlon Brown brings to the table. They play against tougher competition and I think they will be more college ready than Brown.

: WR Lamar Scruggs (6-4 212) of Jacksonville, FL has settled on three finalists and will visit them this month before deciding according to his coach. "It's all going to come down to his visits," Joe Reynolds said Sunday night. Scruggs will visit USC January 17th, Ole Miss on the 24th and Illinois on the 31st. South Florida was another school Scruggs considered but didn't make the final cut.

It's sad how you guys all spaz out when we lose a guy saying how they aren't that great or wait until Eric Berry meets him.

We'll see what this Gamecock has to say on Feb 4th. We've got 4 guys from South Carolina that are strongly considering UT ORANGE. :matrix:

Why are you posting it over here? We don't care. If he plays this year I hope he goes across the middle. We'll see how tough he is after Berry destroys him.
