craig james just said if its similar to what happened to barron batch, he could be back soon, that sounds like a best case scenario though

Definitely hate it for him..in all the interviews I've seen, he seems like a really nice guy.

Hope he has a speedy recovery.

I don't think any coach in football would have already pulled their starters with a 21 point game early in the 4th

There's no reason to be giving carries to your #1 back at that point in the game. You don't have to pull all your starters; just run some plays for your other guys for awhile. You can always go back to the main guy if you need him. It's a rotating position anyway. Even aside from the injury risk, there's basic wear and tear. Why give James 30 carries in a blowout?

Saw it live and up close. Nasty. Apparently he snapped it back in place himself ... he's got a long week to heel. Should be okay

Dislocation's are odd. They look horrific and many times there is a fx involved or ligament tear. X rays were negative. He'll be sore as hell for a few days with swelling and stiffness, but should be able to play with a brace.

They said he popped it out of place and then popped it right back in to place before he even left for the xray. haha pretty awesome how he's like...whatever its all good.

It usually doesn't hurt extremely bad at the time. 6 hours later, without pain killers, it would be almost unbearable.

It hurts within a couple of minutes after putting it back in place. The shock of the injury wears off quickly, and rapid inflamation sets in after the joint is reset.

Demps suffered a similar injury in our bowl game a couple years ago.

If there's no nerve damage James will be back sooner than later. But it did look like a fracture on the replay.

Still trying to figure out what the OP was trying to say in the thread title.

And he still looked okay. Either he is fine and it wasn't nearly as bad as it looked, or LaMichael James is a bad, bad man.
