As long as Urlacher is in the middle of the field for the Bears, the other 2 LBs will not get paid as much. They will be considered bit players not worthy of making 6-7 million a year.
And with the success that Colvin and Holdman have had while not being around Urlacher, you have to admit that Brigg's numbers are inflated by lining up beside #54
so you agree with briggs that he deserves to get paid more than the best player on your team. like i said without #54 he is not a top 5 linebacker.
Don't jump to conclusions, smart guy. I never said I agreed with anything. I'm just stating what's been said. Also, I'm sure Briggs would counter that without him, Urlacher isn't a star, either.
i wasn't getting smart, just asking a question. urlacher would be good no matter who lines up at his sides. he has already proven that. briggs hasn't. briggs should get around 5 to 5.5 million a year. i can't wait for him to hit the market. cato june had to struggle to get 4 million a year.
It's really not that ludicrous. Urlacher was named to Sporting News' All Overrated Team not that long ago. I think he's a good linebacker, but a lot of people think he benefits heavily from the defensive talent around him.

he had a torn hamstring rapaired. they don't know how good he is going to be. they also lost both there backups in free agency. they will draft somebody i just don't know who.
