Lance Thompson and Jim Chaney

Great Thread Eric Vol.

These guys should reach football god like status at UT for their tremedous efforts in keeping this class together and preventing UT from falling apart. Without them, this entire class could have left. Give CDD credit also for recognizing good ones, and being willing to keep them on staff.

GO VOLS

I really don't think you are overestimating their importance. If Chaney decided to go pro (which he could have) and Thompson to another Dstaff(Which he could) then we literally could be staring at 7-10 commits right now, with half of them being EE that want to transfer and our program could have been set back years.

Now with the work that they and Dooley have done, LK leaving was nothing more than a dip in the ascent back to the top of Rocky TOP!:rock::rock:

Crump just committed

Crumps been committing for the last 12 hours and still there is no evidence that it has happened or that he has even been offered. Hubbs doesn't even know for sure. Not sure where this got started.

Definitely give them a ton of credit, as I'm sure does CDD. Wonder if this means Thompson will be the DC?

Best Vol back I can remember leaping over the pile at the goal line was James Stewart. He made a living off that play.

He is the first vol RB I can remember playing and I thought that was just a play that everyone did....little did I know how great he was at that.

For all the hype Jabari Davis had, he could get in the endzone really good at least on the dive!

It's great to see those who are loyal to their employer get recognition. I hope these two become long term assistants. As some have posted earlier, I am anxious to see what coach Chaney can do without the "-X" factor. Go Vols, go!
