I am not implying that you are a TROLL. I am saying that you are over reacting to the ebb and flow of recruiting. Who the freak cares what our ranking is today? Last I checked; it is the ranking on NSD that counts. (And that is only for bragging rights since there is no direct correlation between recruiting ranking and championships).

Your over reaction is fertile ground for TROLLs to feed as evidence by Calivol. Want more proof, take a look at all of the TROLLs posivol’s stupidity fed.

If you've been here longer than most, why haven't you realized that this is how recruiting goes? You pick up commits, you lose commits. This whole thread is tiresome. There are about 6 of these a day. Waaa waaa waaaaa, Willis isn't coming here anymore. Get over it. His spot will be replaced, and probably by someone better. We will get players. If you can't comprehend that recruiting is one giant game that doesn't end until the third (and in some cases, afterwards), then you don't need to be following.

Ambles is all Vol, Jose and Pat Harris couldnt qualify. We are about to get Chaz Green and John Cullen and most likely Nickell Robey and im sure Jacques, Ambles, and Palardy are gonna do some heavy recruiting at the Army All American Bowl, We are fine and will most likely finish with a top 7 class maybe even a top 5 if we get all of the players that we expect to get.

you cant run a real good offence if you dont have the players. Thank Fulmer for that. You can run with what you have. After the way he developed Crompton i think Kiffin knows about an offence.

I understand recruiting completely and know how it goes, your smartass remarks are not called for! I just do not remember a time when we lost so many, so quick! ALL these guys we lost were supposed to be SOLID. I love Kiff as the coach and think its great that he is bringing in NFL coaches, so why are we not gaining recruits instead of losing them! I was just wondering if their was something more going on, that I was not aware of!

Can you say 1 positive thing about Tennessee sports? Everything you say is something negative and you showed up over the past few days to do it. You are on 5150 or posivol level. I read every single thread and when I see something negative I know if I look left I will see smokey laying on the ground and your name. That is how pathetic you have become on this site. Instead of adding, you continually have something negative to throw in because you do not like the way Kiffin is doing things. I am all for you having an opinion, but throwing your negativity into everyones face in every single thread will not help you win your argument, it will only piss people off and make them not like you, not Kiffin which seems to be your main goal right now.

I am seriously debating putting you on my ignore list (you would become the first and probably only), but I am willing to give you a chance to add some substance to my VolNation experience.

Think of recruiting as a guy and a girl Dating. There are 3 levels of relationships, single, taken, engaged , and married. In recruiting, there is uncommitted, soft verbal, hard verbal and signed LOI. You can basically figure out the comparisons. Couples break up with each other for various reasons, most of the time is that they are sick of each other, or someone new is more appealing. Couples get back together and commits might go back to the schools, because of something they see in it. Dont Panic, Lane and the staff are finding the perfect recruits to fit our standards and schemes.

Its pretty obvious the poster is not too high on Kiffin. What he did with Cromp and Hardesty was a great job! He was part of one of the most prolific offenses in college football(USC). I think when he can get his guys in and put the system in full force, it will be NASTY!

They're completely called for. If you understand it completely, you would understand that they are 18 year old kids. How many 18 year old kids know exactly what they want? Exactly. Speaking of age, most 18 year olds were too young when Monte's vaunted Bucs defense won the Super Bowl. So the only coach they've seen in NFL action in the spotlight has been Lane. Yes, Al Davis is insane, but he didn't do much there (not that anyone could). Compare that to the established track records of Urban and Nick and you're not going to pull in those big time recruits as of yet. Lane has done a tremendous job given the time he's been here and the results he has produced. That being said, even Urban and Nick don't get every single recruit they want, and neither will we. Such is the beast.

Best case: You became friends with 2 cute girls who drove a long way to watch you play and cheer for you.

Worst case: Kiffin sent 2 cute girls to service you sexually.

As an 18 year old boy there are 2 things on your mind (football and girls). Are you scared away by either the best or worst case?

I've been checking in the rec forum just about every day for the last 5-6 months. Most of the guys we have lost were due to grades I think. Those were not suprises. The ones I think suprised most were Cobbs and Willis.

I think all of the recent decommits (except for Willis) were 3-star guys. We will replace them with 4-star caliber. By NSD this class will rock somewhere in the top five.

dude, you need to chill, this board is for open discussion, if it wasnt for people questioning fulmer then he would still be here. Lane hasn't proven a thing except that he is monte's son.

So you give him no credit for any of the following:

-Coordinating the highest scoring offense in NCAA history at USC

-Getting an NFL head coaching job at age 31

-Signing the the #1 player in America for the first time in UT history

He's also the reason Patrick Turner went to USC instead of UT.
