Lane Kiffin's deflated balls

If I was the ball boy doing this under the instruction of Lane Kiffin and was I was then thrown under the bus by him, I'd be telling everyone that would listen that Lane told me to. Not sure how much good it would do but I'd be shouting it from the rooftops.

This sounds a lot like the Byrnes, SC incident to me....I really do think we would be winning much more with him as our coach but he is such a dang snake!!!

Kiffin said,..."For all the conspiracy (theorists) that'll think that we were behind this, I don't think if we were trying to deflate balls we would direct a student manager on the Oregon sideline, right in front of them, to be deflating balls and be playing with some deflated balls and some non-deflating balls," Kiffin said. "I'm sure if we knew that, our kickers wouldn't be very happy with that, either, because no kicker's ever gonna want a deflated ball."

I read this earlier today. What a POS! Aways trying to cut corners. He's done less with more, than any coach in America. With that roster at USC, no way in he'll he should have lost a game, let alone 3 in the PAC12.

He's being completely exposed at USC and the rest of the country is seeing what a bad coach he is firsthand. The recruiting restrictions are about to hit hard and he won't have this level of talent in a LONG time, if ever.

They have a recruiting limit, but I don't think quality is a question. He is bringing in a top 5 class every year.

And he has an entire team loaded with top 5 classes right now, what has that got him? He'll have no depth (even less than he has now), and no matter how good his players are, without depth they'll continue to lose 2-3 games a year.

How would it help one team, and hurt the other?

It makes a big enough difference that my 7 year old son gets irritated every time he sees me pump any football up at all. A slightly flat ball is much easier to get a good grip on because your fingers sink in.

I wasn't talking about on the field coaching (I agree), but with recruiting and his ability to bring in top athletes
