Not if you're our local radio stations, they talk Titans 98% of the time and give about 10 minutes a week to Vol coverage. Whats a good station in Knoxville where I can hear about the team I care about?
The Sports Animal is on IHeart radio. I listen to Ainge in the am & Swain in early afternoon. I can’t listen to the guys at 3. They suck. You can always listen to Basilio on his app if you have meds handy.

And comparison, NC & SC, together drew 58,000 in Charlotte. Both campuses closer to Charlotte than UT is to Nashville.

VolNation is amazing

We play in that game next year and the attendance will undoubtedly exceed what we saw last night.

Sorry for you having to hear that slop 98% of the time. Football fans deserve better.

And the Vols would have played to an even larger crowd at home, which would have = more money in the teams wallet. It would have also benefitted the local businesses in Knoxville.

Our local politicos are using the Vols and fans to fund the new stadium. Won't be suprised to see more games being played in Nashville. On down the road, when the Titans leave the state, Nashville will take the Vols away from East TN and try to spin it like that is for the best.
Just like Birmingham stole Alabama from Tuscaloosa? LOL!!!! Alabama pulled all their games to campus and saw the benefits. No more games in Birmingham.

The Vols played in Nashville to enhance mid-state recruiting. I would like to see them alternate a game between Memphis and Nashville. Not that I want to see them lose a home game but a game in Memphis against Missouri, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Miss st, would draw the attention from the media much like the Arkansas aTM game in Dallas. Those neutral site games draw attention.

As the late and great Jimmy Buffet would sing:

Don't want to land in Commanche Sky park
Or in Nashville, Tennessee (no no no)
Don't want to land in no San Juan airport
Or the Yukon Territory (no no no)

If the idiots would have drafted Hendon Hooker instead of Will Levis not only would they have had a better QB but would sell out a lot more games.

Drafting Levis was such an incredibly stupid move. It would be different had he been some generational talent. But trading up and spending a high 2nd rounder on a marginally talented prospect that two thirds of the fan base already hates made zero sense.

I could excuse it if the GM and head coach didn’t come from rabid college football backgrounds and/or failed to understand the culture involved, but Carthon is from UF and Vrabel is from OSU. There is no way they didn’t know Levis would be very poorly received in TN.
