Last in the SEC = LAST TO GET A COACH

Writing on the wall people...read it. Its pretty obvious Hart was not prepared for this. Strong would be an ok hire, but def not what we need at this point. And its looking more and more like we're going to vastly overpay for who we get.

So following the reasoning of this thread, Kentucky is the new powerhouse of the SEC East.

Are you posting from inside a bathroom stall?

Is Strong tough-minded enough to win in the SEC? If so, hire him. If not, hire Fedora or Gundy--if we can get either. I have a feeling Strong will be announced tomorrow.

Actually it is not. Hart is not an impatient highschool kid. Arky looks desperate, offering money without talking to miles and gruden, then reportedly Pettereson and Gundy, then hiring a 5 loss Big 10 coach who needed a late FG to beat Utah state and who lost to Penn St. Not to mention he has publicly called out the SEC for being without morals. Had we hired BB, the same people freaking out now would be freaking out then. So far Kentucky, ARK and AUB have hired 3 guys we didn't want. Big Deal.

One thing to keep in mind, Coach Fulmer is being inducted into the College Football HOF tonight, so UT may be holding off announcing today out of respect so they don't overshadow his big night.

This actually couldn't be any better for Tennessee with Auburn and Arkansas hiring two people we weren't all that interested in. Now, we are without a doubt the top coaching opportunity in the country. Now, let's just hope that Hart makes the best hire for Tennessee.

arkansas and auburn hires---not very good. They could have done a lot better.

This is getting ridiculus. We've already shown we are the most impatient fans anywhere. How bout we wait to judge once the announcement is made. You don't have to be the first to announce a new coach.
Good Grief................... :loco:

I agree. Everyone go check out the Girls of the offseason thread for a while and take a breather. Let this thing play out!!!

Yet another poster who doesn't have the first clue as to what he's talking about.

I thjnk the pigs and awful auburn grabbed a pig in a poke for a coach. I think hart is gonna be selective in the hire. Thats a good thing. I think everyone will be satisfied with the upcoming annoucment. Calm down watch things are going to get better on rocky top.

You guys act as though the most important thing is to be the first to hire a coach--I'd rather be last and get it right.

IMO, Arky, UK and Auburn made good hires that fit their programs, and their fans seem pleased.

Strong = settling for UT.
