Hmm. I would’ve thought most players preferred night games.
What he is referring to, is Heupel has practices first thing in the morning at 8am. The players are used to getting up early and getting ready. Thats what has made us so damn deadly during noon games over the past few years. LSU being the most noticeable.

Kentucky football drags Tennessee down with them into the late night time slot

"The SEC clearly has a place for the Kentucky Wildcats, and that's the 7:45 pm EST time slot. Oh, and on the SEC Network. This is the spot the SEC typically regulates to the matchups that generate not much excitment.

This will be the fourth week in a row that Kentucky has received this time slot and network. No other SEC team has even been close to that amount.

Kentucky returns to the fake primetime spot with the SEC Network, this time dragging Tennessee down with them. I guess if you can't beat your rival, drag them down with you into the dregs of the SEC Network at the latest possible hour. Welcome to the Kentucky time slot, Tennessee. I hope you like staying up late."

Seems the past few years that's part of the deal....have to have 1 game streaming. Didn't know if that would still be the case with the new TV arrangement with ABC...ESPN.

I tell ya what scares me man, with Disney owning ABC, ESPN, etc, etc and taking over all the sports per se (NHL, NBA, SEC, MNF, etc).....I'm really afraid in the next few years they're going to throw everything on streaming and force us to buy a ESPN+ pass for $100s........just like directv did with NFL Sunday ticket.
