Late Summer 2017 Class Predictions

I'm going conservative on this one:

Add Akers, Smith, Harris and McKenzie...drop Burnam...

Akers bumps to 5*...Smith and Harris bump to high 4*'s...Henderson and Jackson bump to 4*'s (Jackson in the R250)...Rogers bumps to a 3*...

Finish with 1 5*, 10 4*'s, 15 3*'s and 1 2*...somewhere between 2250-2300 points on Rivals...15th overall class...

Some may say adding Akers and Harris is not conservative...I just don't see how we don't add one stud running back in this class...and I also expect a major increase in WR production this year which will inevitably attract a highly rated WR

Id say switch Akers for Chandler and its right on.

I also think we will lose a couple current commits, and add a couple higher rated guys before signing day.

JMO,

Gibbs waits to see the direction of UGA and UT during or after the season. A championship makes him a Vol. Akers similar. A great season with some impressive early wins coupled with Clemson struggling might make Higgins reconsider and especially if he's getting family pressure.

Add Smith, Chandler, and a couple of "out of the blue" head turners.

UT will have to drop 2-4 current commits.

Finish with a Rivals star avg of around 3.45 and a ranking in the top 15.
