Nothing causes me to believe we will make the 12 seed or even the 64 seed. The future is not bright because next year we lose Stokes, Maymon, McRae and Barton. Mediocrity is where I fear we are headed with a 21,000 seat arena and a top 5 attendance record in the recent past. We don't need a repeat of last year.

I don't take bracketology to serious until February. If we're in it then, then something amazing has happened.

We will go 14-7 or better. That will get us in. If we hit freethrows and layups we would be undefeated. We won't miss the bunnies every game and get the bad calls every game. Those have really hurt us. 20 will get us in and I don't see us not getting there. I think we lose about 5 or 6 more. People act like we are 0-10. UNC, UK, KU lost to worse teams. Duke should have lost to Vermont. This is college bball and those games happen. I don't think we will have 8 more horrible games.

Lunardi has 6 teams from the SEC getting in....I will lay a large amount of money that's not even close. We may only get half that.

Yeah UNC lost to Belmont then they lost to UAB on the road. People just don't realize that it's not easy winning on the road. Then turn around and beat Mich State, UK and U of L.

What I hope for is a big turnaround this year and at least a run in the dance. I don't want to go through another coaching change that sets us back another 2 to 3 years. But if we end up like last year, I might beat the drum for a change. JMO.

This is clearly by far the best talent this coach will ever have. Squeaking into the tournament should not be enough for him to keep his job.

Why are you shocked? If you people would step back and look at this season so far you might see this:

6 wins
3 losses

Loss #1 @Xavier a team that is 8-3 that just pounded Cincinnati. Their losses are in overtime to #23 Iowa, Tennessee and Southern Cal. Looks like a quality team to me.

Loss #2 UTEP 5-4, this is not a good loss. But UTEP's losses are twice to New Mexico St., #23 Iowa, and a 4 point loss to #2 Kansas. So maybe they are better than their name.

Loss #3 @Wichita State 10-0, ranked #11

TWO solid wins Xavier and Wake Forest.

And two non-conference opportunites. NC St. who is 7-2 and Virginia 7-3.

I would say that this season is not over yet.

wow. That bracket is insane! I know it means nothing right now but that bracket is crazy talented. I'd love a matchup with Memphis!
