Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

It’s what all studies are nowadays..... they have a conclusion..... set up a test to prove what they want it to say.....

Yes, there is rarely enough context provided for a survey for Mr. Joe Public to ascertain how reliable the survey is. We just have to trust the reporting.

The sampling, the forum, the question wording, the question order, etc., etc. all matter.

I feel like we have taken the first step into an alternate universe in 2020. People like this must have existed all around us before but just remained quiet.

I've been working with them for years. Still a minority of people but in my environment they are coddled and God help you if you challenge their views. Let's just say the university will not have your back.

Especially something that sounds like you can opt in online..... I’m sure there are more than a fair share of BS answers.

the first clue to proper survey technique is the listing of a margin of error (+/-). If that isn't present then it most likely wasn't following proper sampling techniques and you have no way of knowing if the survey respondents are "like" the population in general.

the other challenge (sampling) is that over/under sampling is done to try to mimic the population but that assumes the population hasn't changed. For example, if the 2016 election saw 30% R; 35% D; and 35% I then a 2020 survey may try to maintain that same proportion in the sample. However, the world may have shifted to 30% R, 30% D, and 40% I and as a result the survey will oversample D and under sample I.

In the end, the trend is your friend rather than single polls

Let's discuss a few things here. First of all the study was flawed from the get go 'cause it only tested HCQ alone. It did not test it as a cocktail including Zinc and a Z-pack which is how the President took it. I've documented several times that this drug is likely ineffective alone but it does seem to be beneficial when used as part of a cocktail. This is akin to testing one part of the now highly effective AIDS cocktail of drugs and then running a headline story about its ineffectiveness.

But let's look further into the study. It showed only about 11-14% of unprotected folks even showed C19 symptoms after exposure. Furthermore they lumped the mask wearers with the non mask wearers. Which brings up another point...if a mask is so effective, why don't they care about that in doing a study like this?

Bottom line: don't believe a damn thing anymore on this virus. Be very skeptical and read well past the headlines. I'm not so sure you did that here
The cocktail is effective. Monte sometimes gets ahead of himself.

It's all coming out. DIMs want to extend the CoronaVirus to hurt Trump.
Dr. Marc Siegel on faulty hydroxychloroquine data: 'This is a political hit job'
"So Lancet, with egg on its face, a renowned journal, is suddenly withdrawing this study,"

How many lives could have been saved and how much damage could have been avoided if HCL wasn't lied about by the media and political hacks.

CoronaVirus cases getting less and less severe also.

My older brother caught the virus and was in pretty bad shape in mid March. My younger Mayo Clinic trained doctor brother prescribed him the hydroxychloroquine ... literally the next day after he started the dosing he was doing better. That's about all I need to know if it works or not.

That is fantastic.
