Students throw COVID-19 parties to bet on who will catch virus first

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama -- Officials in Tuscaloosa, Alabama say some students are throwing parties, competing to see who can catch COVID-19 first.

Tuscaloosa Fire Chief Randy Smith spoke about this during a city council meeting on Tuesday, confirming the parties.

According to Tuscaloosa City Councilor Sonya McKistry, party organizers intentionally invite guests who have COVID-19. Then money is put into a pot. Whoever catches the virus first wins the pot.

Many of the comments on this article are plain idiotic. People wanting people getting it to die to learn a lesson or saying how the numbers are wrong and the virus has killed many more but the govt doesn’t want to get the real number out.

There are four types of people that subscribe to this nonsense.

1. People that know their DNA is due to be culled.
2. People that fear their DNA is inherently weak enough to be culled by a virus that kills a small percentage of humans (read, 'Hypochondriacs'; read, 'Nosophobiacs'; see also: '3. People that are GRADE-A stupid').
3. People that are GRADE-A stupid.
4. People that capitalize (or want to capitalize) on the GRADE-A stupid.

And there you have it. So simple.

Think seriously for one minute about "journalism".......

A career where by a second grade education would be all the credentials one would need to be a "journalist".....Who, What, When, Where, and the Why and maybe How.........

Seriously, second grade education. And, worse, they are gossipers now, it is instant whisper ear to ear gossip, unsubstantiated, baseless, and fabricated and distorted, and more reminiscent of elementary school gossip chain than anything else, irony......

The biggest and most obvious surety that a story is BS, is when they consider the "who" the story comes from:

"experts say"
"some on social media have"
"the American Society for whatever states"
"polls show that"
"some studies have shown that"
