Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

You'd think a dr might advocate getting healthy to boost immunity instead of accepting and hiding. He's listing issues that can be addressed by the individual if they choose. Also include things like vit c, vit d, zinc, etc instead of believing the magic inoculation is coming to save everyone
I take vitamin c and d every day

Repeatedly posting the same ignorant points dont make the point less ignorant.

Curious. My post is cut and paste.... so you're saying the CDC, Fauci and Maryland Medical System are all "ignorant".

Mkay. Sure.

Care to at least offer a counter to these findings? Or will you just play the Trump "science bad!" schtick?

I will hope that you've had @kiddiedoc on ignore. That might at least give you an excuse for being so ignorant.

Wrong.

Per the CDC:

"The immune response, including duration of immunity, to SARS-CoV-2 infection is not yet understood. Patients infected with other betacoronaviruses (MERS-CoV, HCoV-OC43), the genus to which SARS-CoV-2 belongs, are unlikely to be re-infected shortly (e.g., 3 months or more) after they recover. However, more information is needed to know whether similar immune protection will be observed for patients with COVID-19 "

Per the UMMS:

"...Even more importantly, there is currently no evidence to suggest that people are immune after recovering from coronavirus. Even if novel coronavirus infection imparted immunity, that immunity could be short-lived and last only a few weeks or months. This would leave people vulnerable to reinfection later. "

Covid-19 immunity from antibodies may last only months, UK study suggests

Chinese study: Antibodies in COVID-19 patients fade quickly
From CDC: We don’t know anything..... everyone run and hide lol give me a break

@realDonaldTrump

I have directed
@stevenmnuchin1
to get ready to send direct payments ($3,400 for family of four) to all Americans. DEMOCRATS ARE HOLDING THIS UP!

LMAO. Ehhhh, did anyone bother telling The Debt King he has ZERO authority to do this? Yeah. I'm sure he knows. What a dumbass.

You missed the part where he is trying to get approval. What a dumbass

Glad we agree Trump is a dumbass. Also, yes, I definitely missed the part where he's trying to get approval, because... he's not. Nor was it in his tweet.
Logical reasoning would conclude. He is trying to get Dems approval per the tweet. If he was trying to do it illegally why would he care about them holding it up?
Its a negotiating tactic trying to get the Dems to blink. Just like Pelosi when she made sure to tell the media the Dems had a bill on the floor months ago.

On the herd immunity idea, and it pote tially only lasting so long. Wouldnt exposure reset that clock?

Immunity doesnt mean it cant get into your body. It just means your body can fight it off without you showing symptoms or maybe spreading(?).

Wouldnt reexposure afterwards get your immune system going again? Or does it just produce the needed cells once, and just rides them out?[/QU

I haven't had boosters for 40 years and still show titres that are at good levels.

I feel like a broken record, but one last time:
Fortunately, our immune system has much more important players in the immunity game. Antibody titers for many infections decline after clearance of pathogens. However, T cells retain the ability to recognize the infections and ramp up antibody protection, if it is ever needed again. This response has been clearly demonstrated in studies of CV19.

I can't make it any simpler for you to understand. I know you are the expert on diagnosing and treating infections, here, but I'm quite confident in my own knowledge on the subject.
