He retired 10 years ago and had quite a handsome pension. I don't know why he didn't like it, but he had enough, just like I had when I walked away from my company after 35 years. Nasa isn't some golden pot at the end of the rainbow, it's a job.

I lived in Texas twice since 1996 for about a cumulative 5 years, and I have called on facilites all over TN. GA and AL, including food processing plants and manufacturing jobs, and production lines and such, and I have to say we could learn alot from the Hispanic "work culture".

I saw a man payed some amount of money to clear our company back property of brush in 1996 in Tyler, TX during the sweltering summer of 1996. It always struck me that they are "working to feed their families" Had couple of techs in Houston that were just great guys and we got along great, and years later I still touch base with one. A super majority of them are just outstanding people, which in my anecdotal experience I am disturbed with the narrative that as a red hat that I am racist.

We need these workers as we have become a lazy nation. I just do not want unfettered border crossings with the bad ones. We all desereve to know they have been vetted. SS fraud is a non starter.
