I haven't worked for a pharma in years. I left healthcare because of the pay; not sure why you'd equate leaving an industry with not being able to "cut it", perhaps you're projecting. Didn't you claim to be a cop once?

What is your job title now? Does it require state licensure?

"I am a part of" and "I'm at the bedside" and "I'm on a committee" isn't providing direct patient care. You remind me of military spouses trying to pretend they hold the same rank as their husbands.

Fair enough on the pharm jab. Nothing personal I just believe that pharm reps are as scummy as bail bondsmen, tow truck drivers and lawyers. Lol and yes I spent around 15 years in law enforcement and then 14 as a hospital executive. I carry several state and national certifications in healthcare but I’m not a BSN or RN. I also teach some classes to incoming physicians and nurses

He was a liberal nutcase and hero to tons of Twitter leftists because he posted a kneeling photo of himself at Vandy during the BLM hoax in 2015. He got fired and claimed racism was the reason (he’s Asian). MSM ran stories about it. Then it turned out he was an actual psycho who was fired from Duke and Vandy for stalking several nurses, raping a woman, punching a patient in the parking garage, lying about giving meds, etc.

The point I was making is just because someone does a profession doesn’t always mean they are right in their opinions.

Was just told a guy I work with in his early 60’s, and vaccinated, just had a breakthrough case and is being hospitalized. Fever, low oxygen, getting antibody treatment.

So to follow the EL anecdote strategy, the vaccine is obviously worthless.

We are all fine, thanks for asking.

I’m in my home office working, wife is in the living room, kids all finished virtual work for today. Nobody is sick and the oldest just tested negative this morning. It just more of an inconvenience at this point.

If it’s common to die from covid then it’s common to die from heart disease, diabetes, copd and a multitude of other diseases. It’ll become more than common to you if you keep highlighting just covid. Big picture... it’s not common to die from covid.

New South African COVID-19 strain is the most mutated one yet: report

A COVID-19 variant first detected in South Africa could be more infectious than other mutations — and may have the potential of being resistant to vaccines, according to a report.

The C.1.2 strain has been linked to “increased transmissibility” and is said to have mutated the most from the original virus, which first emerged in the Chinese city of Wuhan, the Mirror reported.

The strain has a mutation rate of about 41.8 mutations per year, almost double the global mutation rate seen in any other existing variant of concern, according to experts at South Africa’s National Institute for Communicable Diseases and the KwaZulu-Natal Research Innovation and Sequencing Platform.
