My comment was not to condone mask usage, but to focus on both the general lack of understanding of particulate travel and the asinine overuse of the "wake up" trope.

Completely agree. My wife and I have been berated numerous times by mask wearers in the past couple of years. If someone wants to wear a mask, I could care less. I think they are dumb but that’s their choice. And I have never accosted anyone for wearing one.

The mask wearers have been much, much worse through this whole thing.

If you expose yourself, develop Antibodies and memory cells to a virus, your body will recall an intruder. One would think before they started masking airline stewardess would have been a group with stellar immunities. Now they get to start over.

Everyone always forgets the memory cells... So many of these immunity studies have only looked at antibodies. Goofy.

Au contraire. Take your mask outside on a cold dry day and breath normally and see how much moisture comes out. For that matter, layer several masks together and you'll get the same thing. Come on man, wake up!
There's enough virus particles in visible moisture to infect who knows how many people.

Yeah, plenty have scientists have shown on video that moisture still comes out despite a mask. They stop big pieces goo from a sneeze, but not much beyond that.

Exactly. My personal opinion is that masks "could" actually facilitate spreading the virus. If you have a laminar flow fluid traveling at a certain velocity and you introduce it to a mesh screen you go from laminar to turbulence on the opposite side of the screen (cavitation, etc.). Same principle, if large moisture droplets impact the inside of a mask, I can see where the droplets could somewhat breakdown resulting in an increase of airborne particles outside the mask. This is just my own theory. Nothing to back it up. Trying to think on a molecular level rather than macro level (like most mask proponents).

None of my feelings about this has ever been political, though most everyone has made it political. The thing that gets me has been the left screeching, "anti science, Christian, trumpers" about anyone who hasn't worn a mask 24/7, or taken the vaccine. That said, soon as a dr or scientist says something that doesn't line up with getting a shot, or wearing a mask 24/7, then they swear they're not a real dr or scientist. Not to mention, Twitter banning the mrna guy for false information, because he warned against it. We all know Twitter knows more than him🤪

You either agree with the narrative or they try to silence you and throw you under the bus. Doesn't matter if the narrative changes or not. You must comply. Kind of reminds me of some popular historical figures (Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, Mao, etc.).

Yep. Even everything suddenly changing because of poll numbers and the midterms, people can't see it's been politically used. Whatever the tv tells them is gospel, it's like they can't step back and actually think about it for a minute. You were going to die if you didn't wear a mask, you were going to die if you didn't take a shot. Poll numbers are down, and people are frustrated with the Democrats? It's okay now, we're going to drop mask mandates everywhere! And stop trying to force the shot! The settled science has suddenly changed!

I had a relative counter Dr Malone’s interview with a doctor on YouTube. That Dr’s proof came from nature.com. How in the world is that more credible? How is a random doctor on YouTube that no one has ever heard of more credible than the guy that helped develop the vaccine??

People are so indoctrinated that they can’t use a tiny bit of skepticism.

I think they dropped that thinking a long time ago. That's what they said in 2020 when this whole thing broke out but now most folks realize this is an airborne virus

Yep, I don't care if everyone wants to wear five masks, face shields typically worn for metal grinding, SCBA suits and gets 10 jabs. Just don't force it on me.

Interestingly, one of the more comprehensive studies to date on mask wearing and viral transmission found an increased rate of influenza spread in the surgical/paper mask cohort.

You should see the list of local physicians fighting to reverse the school mask mandate. Literally some of the smartest and experienced docs in the area.
