St. Louis Sued After Mayor Signs Bill Using COVID Relief To Fund Abortion travel costs
When St. Louis Mayor Tishaura Jones signed a bill allocating federal funds to out-of-state abortion expenses last week, Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt promptly filed a lawsuit against the city.
St. Louis’s “Reproductive Equity Fund” taps into $1.5 million in American Rescue Plan funding, dedicating $1 million specifically to providing logistical support for abortion, “including but not limited to the funding of childcare, transportation, and other logistical support needs.” Missouri’s trigger law banned abortions in all cases except for medical emergencies, making it a class B felony to perform one.

I always cite Roanoke VA but I'm intimately familiar with it. Their COVID money largely went to funding a gun violence awareness program that did nothing but serve a councilman's grifting... I mean non-profit organization whose only deliverable out of it is a handful of failed gun buybacks and a report that points out what the police crime map that's existed forever already shows. This is why the government should have as little money as possible. The amount of money they take from us in taxes and through inflation goes to slush funds to line politician pockets and fund special projects. We’ll never see a full accounting of the COVID scam money, but I’m pretty certain less than 20% of it actually went to anything that had a thing to do with COVID.
Granddaughter had covid last week. Felt bad for a couple of days and then over it. Friend of hers had it as well. Got it probably while on a mission trip to Savannah, Georgia of all places.

It's making its rounds here in GA for sure. I have had a handful of employees call in sick for a day or 2 in the past week. Two of my employees chose to get tested and both were positive. Very mild symptoms for most (except the fully vaccinated employee who tested positive). My wife and I both had an itchy throat for a few days but that was about the extent of it. Neither of us have tested, I'm just assuming we have what everybody else has.
Honestly, I’m becoming very annoyed with the ones so excited to get tested. If you don’t feel well enough to work, stay home. Otherwise come to work.
It is becoming the easy way to get out of work. A person can probably test positive 3 times in a year.
Hey Trumpers, here's a real dilemma for you. You must admit that either (a) Biden is inherently more fit (at least with respect to his immune system) than Trump, or (b) the vaccine has lessened his symptoms. Tough choice, I know.
