The problem is the US hasn't banned all flights so Air China etc are still flying.

I suppose that from the government's perspective they realize the signal they are sending if they do a full on ban. Would just add to the panic selling in the markets.

Having said that, if we see a lot of folks testing positive on these planes or ships, they won't have much choice.

And what if this is a naturally occurring virus they found? I don't trust the cheating bastards as far as I could throw one of them, but they're small so I might get a few feet. Just to play conspiracy theory, what if they were planning on letting this virus loose on the western US after they developed a vaccine for their own people? What if they f'd up and it got out before the vaccine was finished? Conspiracy is my middle name!
