I hate seeing kids involved. I know its reality but its tragic.Just brought a screenshot of this one since it showed 3 deceased kids. I can't even fathom what's really going on over there.

Good. Better safe than sorry until they know more or get some kind of handle on this.Quarantine zones coming to an airport near you
DOD Statement on Additional Request From HHS > U.S. DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE > Release
No I dont. I believe those people on the train or ship have voluntarily given up their right temporarily by engaging in a voluntary action. I expect them to follow whatever rules the ship or airplane operator has. Because they knowingly put themselves in that situation.I saw what started this, you tagged me saying that you were curious how I felt.
You have yet to see me condone or condemn China's responses. I'm confident they have done things that I would agree with and done other things with which I would disagree.
My point is simply this, if you support the quarantining of the passengers on the plane or the cruise ship off of the coast (which pretty much everyone does), then you acknowledge that there is a line where the safety of the many is outweighed by the rights of the individual.
Once we acknowledge that there is a line (which there must be), then the conversation can move to where to place the line. This virus is the perfect example.
I don't believe that innocent people should be grabbed off of the street and thrown into metal containers.
I don't believe a person known to be contagious should be allowed to walk freely on the streets.
The line lies somewhere between those two extremes.
Individuals have the obligation to at times, join as a group to protect other or even all individuals.
Getting back to that cruise ship in Japan, is there any medical sense to keep people on it? More cases were confirmed on the ship today included a Japanese health ministry official. The virus there is spreading like wildfire.
This one in this link says they have nobody sick but has tried to port 5 different times and countries are refusing. Said they are about to run out of food.

That is exactly the problem. Makes tracking transmission extremely difficult.Has there been any more news on level of contagiousness prior to symptoms? That a huge problem because you could have person A with no symptoms spread it to B and C, who give it to D, E, F, G, H, I, who give it to L through Z. And maybe all before A gets sick, making it impossible to track and contain.
Response to alleged 24 day incubation period: "...the proportion of people with the really long incubation periods will be very small."

Response to alleged HIV tie in to the virus: Basically, It was poor reporting. Nothing to see here.
No, The Wuhan Coronavirus Was Not Genetically Engineered To Put Pieces Of HIV In It
The articles been pulled by the publisher. Many of the comments from microbiologists on the site questioned many things that are important to prove to publish such findings. They said they will rewrite and republish.
Let’s hope.First American coronavirus evacuees released from quarantine
Those being released pose no health risks as they go home or wherever their destination is.
These people do not have the coronavirus & should be welcomed back into their communities.

Also consider the CDC still performs all the tests and one person tested negative that actually had it. My concern is that if this is a bioweapon that was spliced with HIV, it might take months before the virus is detectable. The rumors of it taking over 20 something days certainly give pause for concern. With HIV, it usually takes anywhere from 2 to 6 months and up to a year in some cases before it can be detected.I’m just not getting a warm fuzzy feeling about that based on the most recent reports coming out concerning the length of asymptomatic incubation and the presentation of multiple false negative test results that an individual can have before finally popping as testing positive.
So the CDC has given you an all clear and sent you on your merry way. If you’ve resumed your normal life interacting with the general population and in 10 days or so start feeling ill will you now just think you’ve picked up a normal cold because the CDC previously cleared you of WuFlu?
