Latest Rasmussen Poll

so u dont think obama uses the race card to hopefully get black voters to the polls for him in november?

honest question.

No, I don't.

Obama has done plenty to irritate me. The latest back and forth with Paul Ryan over budgets that would both be DOA and are both strong on rhetoric but completely gutless on substance is just the latest example. In fact, not sticking with Bowles-Simpson from the get go has been a huge mistake.

But watching that answer in that presser, about Trayvon (about whom he was specifically asked), reading into it and seeing race-bating or anything of that sort is just stupid. He didn't make any outrageous comments in that instance whatsoever. Every single parent I know, when they hear about that case or any other where a child is harmed, sympathize and express concern for their own children.

Obama doesn't need to do anything to get the Black vote. Ex. Last year.

There were enough idiots in the country (sorry if offend people.) who were uninformed black people (but also others) who voted for him. It's not racist, it's the truth. Imo, he won because people got excited that a black guy was running and loved being part of "change".

I don't think it'll happen again. Hopefully the "change", or lack thereof persuades people to vote against him.

If economy was fine...obama would be leading easily. We are seeing the results of his admin. right here. Hopefully he understands and spends the last months in office actually fixing stuff instead of f***ing it up even worse and pretending it's better.

On the flipside of that, however, with the economy in the dire condition it is in right now, Romney should be leading easily. The truth is that neither of these guys are appealing options.

You wanna talk tax reform, I'll talk tax reform.

15 percent flat across the board with a 10% vat tax on all goods other than grocery store goods and utilities etc.

no waivers no matter income bracket on the vat tax.

True. It's pretty much like every single political race in KY seems to be like...both are dumbasses and you're stuck with the lesser of two dumbasses.

poor people are poor because the rich are holding them down.

it's the rich's fault.

they need to pay their fair share.

They need to pay their fair share unless it benefits you.

This. Exit polling in November will likely show 90+% of black people voting for Obama; the real question is turnout numbers.

I think it's somewhere in between. The economy isn't in the ****ter, but it's not doing great, either.

Even after factoring out my fiance I am still in a 40% federal bracket due to having to pay my own employment taxes.

15% and 15% vat straight up would be a dream come true for me.

I agree with the structure, I like the idea of VAT combined with an income tax that's lower than it is now (kicking in at a certain % of the poverty line), but here's the problem: If a 15% flat income tax and 15% VAT constitutes a net increase in tax receipts to the government (and it honestly just might), then that would put anybody who signed the Americans for Tax Reform Pledge in violation.

You do not see a problem with factoring out your fiance so you can take a vacation. on the taxpayers dime?

sounds socialist to me.

National numbers are meaningless. Five states are going to matter this year: Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina and Florida. Iowa and New Hampshire are the other swing states. The polling in those states is as follows (from RCP):

Florida: Obama +3.5
North Carolina: No average, but in the last week, PPP has Obama +5 and Rasmussen has Romney +2
Ohio: Obama +8.6
Pennsylvania: Obama +6.0
Virginia: Obama +4.0

Polling in NOVA only?

Dont see it in Va

The Ohio data is baffling, unless people are voting against Kaisich

Two of the three polls in the last month in Ohio also show Sherrod Brown with a double digit lead over Josh Mandel as well. Similar story in Florida (although with poll numbers not as wide) -- purple state with a GOP sweep including the Governor's office in 2010, now both Scott and Kasich have poor approval ratings, and both states seem to be leaning dem in the senate and presidential elections.

Brown is a fine example of a pos. What a scum bag.

Just messin with you Neo.

It's cool.

But to be honest no I dont.

I have one employee who calls out all the time and made roughly 14,000 last year because she could never work more than 3 days in a row. Should have made roughly 28,000.

anyways, she was bragging that she got 12,000 in her refund. said obama was the best thing that ever happened to her.

tough not to become bitter over stuff like that.

There's too many employees like that.
To be honest this has been going on long before Obama. Welfare has become a way of life for millions of people . I have no problem. with the Gov giving a helping hand to help people get on or back on their feet but there should be an end at some point.

would honestly have no problem paying high taxes if the money was going to people in actual need. not one problem at all.
