I just tuned in. All she's yapping about is how we didn't like him due to the Sandusky scandal. So yeah, she's totally out of touch with why we're mad.

Bet she'd really support that good man's character when he was out recruiting against AL. I'm guessing a lot of SEC recruiters were just licking their chops at the opportunity to smear him (and thereby UT). Currie has the be the most stupid AD on the planet.

Not a direct quote, but she was basically calling out the fan base for ruining Schiano's name and ruining his chances of ever getting a hc job on Finebaum today.

Embellish much? Her main point was that there is insufficient proof of Schiano's involvement.

She's actually a pretty smart cookie and I assure you she would not be afraid to tell you to get your own Milwaukee's Best and "sammich"

People get unfairly judged by the public on a regular basis. Schiano has a questionable background that unfortunately can't be proven or disproven at this point in time. Nobody is saying to string him up, the fan base just didn't want him as a coach here at TN.
If he can't get a head coaching job elsewhere it won't be because of anything TN did, it'll be because of his own background.

The only people judging Schiano on his time spent at Penn State are angry Tennessee fans. Almost literally the only people.

You fight with what you have available. We didn't need a carbon copy of the guy we just fired; and we didn't need a guy whose background was cannon fodder for negative recruiting. I'm guessing if an AD at another school tried this nonsense, it would be a different fanbase up in arms.
