For Tennessee to sign this many top 50 players six months after a coaching change is something else. Whatever resources Tennessee has put behind the new coaching staff, it's seriously working.

I do think that’s part of the deal but I truly think this staff is getting the job done on the ground. Lots of other schools have lots of resources too. Kids have to want to pick you at the end of the day.

Crappolo...I'm officially old.

Looked at her photo curious about lateral defensive quickness

In anything, get the leadership right the rest takes care of itself.
It’s that simple. We saw it with LSU and Texas.

LSU had no business getting back to the Final Four before us. Before 2023, their last FF run was 2008 like ours. Smh.

Anyway. Kim is HERE and getting this thing right. We thank you (and Danny) 🙂

Back to the topic on hand. Welcome, Lauren!

What a first time, high school recruiting class, for this new staff!

The amount of time they’ve had to recruit these young women, it’s honestly mind blowing how they’ve been able to get them to commit!
You and I both use to say it a lot in our posts.the program had to do away with the old established tradition of doing things this is a new generation of young ladies and CKC got the memo

Kim’s making him look real good right now!

He really has a great track record for WBB coaching hires at his respective stops. Three for three hiring the right coach at the right time so far.

I believe he hired Coach Jack at Buffalo now at Syracuse and Coach Abe at UCF now UGA. Even though I don’t think they will do great at their P4 schools he hired them at Buffalo and UCF to great success. Hopefully the same happens for Kim.

Man of the people. Bow to the ill-fitting sport coat…uh, absent in this photo.
big fan of business casual…give me a nice performance polo or 3/4 zip for any occasion. If fans focus on the bicep fit, things are going really good if that’s all they have to complain about.

He also hired/promoted Nate Oates at Buffalo. He didn’t open it up nationally when Bob Hurley left.

Love that Lauren said “Kim is a simple lady.”

That was her big sell lol. What you see is what you get and you can’t buy that. She really does have a charisma that is rare in coaching. She commands attention as soon as she walks in a room.

I’ve noticed too, she has a bit of a stare. Or more of a “wtf was that” face when a player has just done something bone headed and is coming off the floor. They do not like to see it, they don’t like disappointing her and that speaks volumes.

Ruby blew a defensive assignment the other night and got that look and she was NOT wanting to meet Kim on the sideline. Little fear back in Knoxville lmao. “Hate me now, love me later.” That was Pat to a tee. A lot of women HATED playing for her but they dang sure respected her and discovered that she loved them beyond measure as they matured.

Caldwell could be Summit 2.0.

Marshall women's basketball is unwatchable since Caldwell left. Going back to boring ball. Our new coach goal is to give up 15 points or less each period. That's such a rotten strategy because you achieve it by slowing the game to a crawl. We scored 56 points last two games... You guys better give her an extension because she can't be replaced.lol Go Herd.

Yes I noticed it’s already a mess. Roster didn’t have that much turnover but they aren’t getting anything going.

Crazy how much difference a coach can make.
