Lavar Ball vs Charles Barkley

He is on another level. Nothing is a sure thing, but I can't remember the last freshman PG with his talent and skill set. At best, he could be Jason Kidd, at worst he could be Andre Miller with a 3 point shot. He's got a high ceiling and he's also a safe pick.

Kyrie was/is better.

Penny Hardaway was 6'7 as a PG. And Magic was 6'8.

Smaller height isn't always indicative of a good PG.

I think his point about Lonzo was being a 6-6 PG negates some of the criticism over his unorthodox jump shot, because he's still taller than most NBA PGs.

Unorthodox or not its depends on how often he makes it. Theres been plenty of guys in the league with weird looking jump shots. Shawn Marion. Dirks looks weird to me too.

It's less about the way it looks and more about it being easy to block. It is a concern, but it's definitely not a big enough concern to keep him out of the top 3 picks.

It's really a shame. His kids might be the nicest people in the world, but because their dad is an *******, people are going to assume the sons are the same way.

I'm a LeBron apologist/fan anyways. But I respect LBJ even more for speaking up about this Last Ball running his mouth. Good for LeBron. LeBron said something like Lavar can talk about anything he wants but don't talk about my kids leave my family out of it. LBJ gets critized for a lot of thing but seems like a good dad.

They all say they are one and done. I remember Scotty Hopson saying that. I loved Scotty but he had to regret saying that before he ever played here. He was constantly held to that standard by fans. He didn't achieve it so he was perceived as an underachiever. Not true but that's perception. If Balls kids don't pan out they will be labeled that.

Honestly, i would prefer Lebron not to have such a thin skin about it. Ball's comments carry absolutely no weight and though stupid, weren't really that offensive. Sticks and stones...Lavar just successfully trolled Lebron.

If someone says something about me I'm like ehhh. But if you say something about my child I'm upset. That's just the angle I'm coming from.

Agree. LeBrons response should have been "who is LaVar Ball?"
