I can't say I disagree with that correction..
But... if we sucked last year and won the east...? Sorry, that's the only bullcrap hope of an argument I even have to hold on to.
no argument there. He didn't have to. You rolled over. Your D is close to being the best in the conference, I'm not afraid to admit that. We did put together some decent drives on offensive calls that were so vanilla it was ridiculous.
I seriously think your team is missing some tools and it's showing in Tebow's game. The running game is predicated on scat backs jetting to the corner and better Ds just aren't going to let you do it.I was just giving you a hard time on a Friday. No offense intended.
Hey, we had it all right in front of us and lost to Ole Miss. I guess that we have a chance to get things back on track tomorrow night and a BCS bowl, etc., is still definitely a possibility for the Gators. Still, its just sort of frustrating to feel like your team really does have the tools and can't quite get the machine running right.
I know, I know. Choir. Preaching.
I disagree with Danielson. They don't have the monster weapons at receiver like they had last season.Florida simply has no identiy offensively. Truth be told, they'd be better off reverting back to last year's formula.
Gary Danielson was on the radio here this morning and he had an interesting take on Florida......it seems to him that they have so many weapons that htey spend too much time trying to get the ball in to everyone's hands, rather than simply going out and calling plays to beat the defense......almost seems like there's a quota of touches Harvin, Rainey.....et al have to get per game......He also says that over and above that, losing Ingram was the biggest thing to affect this offense.
anyway......i guess i'm rooting for LSU. which means they'll surely lose.
I agree and it was evident from game 1.Florida simply has no identiy offensively. Truth be told, they'd be better off reverting back to last year's formula.

All year we heard how "fast" and "unbelievable" our receivers were, and we have been ineffective b/c Mullen refuses to give them the ball, except for Harvin and Murphey some of the some. I agree with Papa and Danielson. Lou Holz was the first to say after the game at your place that we have no offensive identity. AND we don't! I'm hoping we can come out this weekend and play a complete game all the way around FOR ONCE.I disagree with Danielson. They don't have the monster weapons at receiver like they had last season.
Right now, all of their true weapons trade out at that quasi-RB position they use.
maybe about the number of weapons, ok, but the mentality as to how to get the ball to Harvin, Rainey et al, i think is valid based on what i've seen.I disagree with Danielson. They don't have the monster weapons at receiver like they had last season.

They miss those WRs and a monster TE in a huge way.maybe about the number of weapons, ok, but the mentality as to how to get the ball to Harvin, Rainey et al, i think is valid based on what i've seen.
i think they miss bonafied WR threats like caldwell and Baker as well, but they have talent.
is there an echo in here? BPV, you've gotten really good at re stating what i've already said. They miss those WRs and a monster TE in a huge way.
I think they are loaded, but it seems that all of their game changing talent is fighting for one spot, which is clearly Harvin's when he's healthy.
