I have a Deere 110. It’s great and really reliable. I have friends who had Deere’s for years, bought other brands, returned them and bought deere’s.

Asking for recommendations for a new mower with no additional information is like asking for recommendations for a new car or a new girl. I'm going with these 2 for your safety and for the safety of those around you. Happy shopping!!

Had a Troybilt for 6ish years and it did great in my Previous yard of about .4 acre. Then I moved to a bigger house on a smaller lot and it conked out on my.

A buddy gave me one of those motorless mowers which I used the entire season last year. It got the job done but with twice the effort. I used it one time this spring then happened to see a Kobalt 40w mower reduced price st Lowe’s. I already had a 40w kobalt blower and weed eater which I was happy with so I said eff it and bought the thing.

Pros:
*Very light. My 6 year old will even get out there and push it.
*super easy start up. No more pull string
*Can be stored vertically so takes up less space.
*oddly quiet. Since it doesn’t have a gas motor rumbling all you hear is the blade spinning which amount to a fan going too fast.

Cons
*would not reccomend for a medium to large size yard UNLESS you are willing to invest in a few batteries. My yard is small and It does take a full charge for the front and one for the back. Thankfully I had extras from other equip I had purchased. Also if it’s really how the batteries seem like the drain a little faster.

That said it works great for me. What took me almost an hour last year with the motorless mower is done in about 45ish minutes this year.

Abused the crap out of a simplicity on an acre and half for nearly twenty years. That mower just wouldn’t quit. Well, excluding the time my wife decided to mow over a tomato cage.

Read a good article not long ago about Snapper/Simplicity telling Wal Mart to go kick rocks years ago

Bought Craftsman $129 weedwhacker's 2 years in a row in the 90's for residential use. Each pure garbage after a season's use. 3rd year bought a Stihl FS120 commercial for $400. Used it 20 years & sold it in 2016 for $200. Zero problems ever! Good equipment & tools are worth their weight in the long haul.

What was the outcome on the hot tub heater? I was the one that helped you on it when you were gettin on the people talking about Jesus cause they wouldn't help you in the recruiting section

I posted in the rf that I replaced the heater. It was definitely bad. It works awesome now. I could not comprehend that friction in thdd system could generate enough great to keep the tub not but it was. It hardly runs at all now. Thanks for your help.

Wondering how many battery charges would be needed to cut up a 30 foot long locust trunk into 16 inch firewood.

Every damn weed wacker I've ever used pretty much needed to be serviced every 2 years if not sooner. Pieces of ****, all of them. My dad owned a Craftsman back in the day as well. The last time I saw that thing was when he beat it across the retaining wall at his house, folded it in half, and then shoved it in the trashcan. I'm seriously about to buy a battery powered one.

I've got a craftsman battery operated weed eater I use to cut 23 acres of sawgrass over 6 ft tall once a week. Been using the same one for 20 years and only charged it once. Paid $30.00 for it and my neighbor has offered me $50.00 for it several times. Its pink too.
