Ok. Said he was a walk on, on the 1998 team. My buddy hadn't heard about this and was totally shocked. Said he was the nicest, most quiet guy

I didnt see a motive - maybe the wife was up to no good - guess we will find out more soon.

My old roommate is on that list

Thats good - to bad they (all the walk ons) didnt get more respect by being shown on those UT website rosters - the NC ring is a nice thing to have though.

What kind of law do you do and what city?

Criminal defense in Memphis. There is a nice group of defense attorneys and prosecutors who are Vols fans.

My class at the University of Memphis was full of folks from middle and east TN and some were UT grads or fans.

Very true. But as a private attorney, it's about whether or not people can pay. I also handle a lot of forfeiture cases. There are attorneys around town who don't care for them, so they send me business.

What kind of law do you practice?

Good for you. We have a couple of PI attorneys in our firm, and the money will always be there.

I just hit 10 years, and I know what you mean. There have been a couple of times in the last few years where I considered a change, but right now, it appears my practice may be going to another level. If I got out, I would probably get out of litigation altogether. I have an L & T degree from UT, so I would jump to in-house counsel or in business.
