Leaving For Gatlinburg Tomorrow.

We arrived last night and have spent the first day with stuff our daughter wants to do. I will never go to a "moving theater" again.
I'm too old for that mess.

The moving theater in Gatlinburg isnt all that good, it killed my neck, and I got bruises on my legs last year. My favorite moving theatre is the one on the strip in Pigeon Forge, I love that one, I ride it every year! This is makin me excited for July to get here, cause I will be up in the Smokey Mtns. for a week! :D I hope you and your family have a great time up there LIO!!

:dlol: That's what they do in Bama, not Tennessee. I have never been to a moving theater before. What does it do? Move?

You sit in special seats that move along with the action. We watched a roller coaster coaster ride, a trip through space and several other events.
I told my husband that the NEXT time we considered doing that, let's just save 50 bucks and beat each other up.

The one in Pigeon Forge is the one we went to. :wassup:

Thanks for wishing us a good trip, but you should have warned me about the moving theater.

Oh, I didnt know that was the one you were talkin about! That one is my favorite moving theatre, but serisouly if your daughter wants to ride the one in gatlinburg, talk her out of it, it's like $12.50-$15.00 I cant remember the exact price, but it is a ripoff! LOL! You must go eat at the alamo, if you havent ate there before, excellent food! I swear if I ever get rich im gonna build me cabin out in Wears Valley, cause everytime I leave to come back home, I get so sad. :( Anyways, I hope yall didnt get too beat up on riding that thing!!

LiO, there are three great places to eat breakfast.

1) Can't remember the daggum name but it is the very last place on the right as you exit Gatlinburg up at the top of the strip heading to Cherokee.

2) The Log Cabin Pancake House, which is the last place on the left as you leave Pigeon Forge heading to Gatlinburg.

3) The Pancake House beside the Sleep Inn on your left just before you get to the apple place there in Sevierville just before getting into Pigeon Forge. It was highly ranked in Southern Living magazine. Ask for "Doris" to be your waitress.

I havent tried that one. I like the Log Cabin one in Gatlinburg on Airport Rd!!

I also love the Parkway Pancake House in Gatlinburg. We always make a trip or two there!!!!!!!
