Bonnaroo Promoters Quash Lineup Rumors

"The rumors that are out there about the Bonnaroo 2008 headliners are inaccurate," Superfly Presents and A.C. Entertainment said in a statement released to Billboard.com. "We're very excited about the lineup that we're putting together for this year's festival. We'll be announcing the confirmed lineup toward the end of January/beginning of February.

Plant and Krauss will be there though. and JPJ was there last year. still, not likely.

Care to explain the people I smelt on their way to Bonnaroo a few years back? I was working at the M'boro Wal-Mart, and the place stank for days.

I worked at Cracker Barrel, right off the interstate in Murf for 2 Bonaroos. Your move.

Whoa. I feel for ya.

Even if everyone smelled like roses I wouldn't go... not my thing... and I never said I WOULD go. I'm from right up the road.

if it's not your thing, that's totally fine.

i was just saying that if it's something you want to do, smelly people should not be a deal breaker on going or not.

No Led Zepplin.

Headliners this year included Pearl Jam, Metallica, Kanye West, and the Allman Bros Band. Lots of other goodies on the lineup, too. The comedy tent is top notch this year as well.

Tickets on Sale Saturday. First set go for $209.50

Don't forget Jack Johnson. His set was amongst the best of my maiden-Roo voyage.

Lez Zepplin?????

This is the main reason I never went to to Bonnaroo, I cant stand being around a bunch of bozos.

I wanted to go to last year worst than ever when they had the White Stripes and My Morning Jacket, but for the impending fear of beating a Tool fan or 6 halve to death kept me away.

Im not saying I dont like people who like Tool cause I like a two of there songs myself, but their groupies give me the creeps

Robert Plant will be there. 1/4 ain't bad.

You've also got Jakob Dylan (of the Wallflowers)
My Morning Jacket
BB King
Aimee Mann
Robert Randolph
Donavon Frankenreiter
Sigor Ros

Those guys will all put on good shows.

Just saw where The Raconteurs are playing. Wonder if that means a new album this Spring or Summer?

That Bluegrass All Stars should be great too; I love Bela Fleck.

Didn't know Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova were now "The Swell Season." I knew they put out an album by that name, but didn't know they were now billing themselves that.

All and all, even without Led Zepp, still one of the best lineups for any Bonnaroo. There are some great artists on down that long list, like Lupe Fiasco, Drive By Truckers, Robert Randolph, Jose Gonzalez, and Jakob Dylan.

I saw Robert Plant at Sitar Indian restaurant off West End last Saturday. He was there for lunch and ate off the buffet. The guys who work there had no idea who he is but told me that he has been in there several times recently.
