Is it just me, or does Finebaum seem nervous and kind of star-struck out there? Almost like the stage is a little too big for him.

He delivered his whole "Lane Kiffin is Miley Cyrus" spiel that got so much pub by reading it verbatim off a sheet of paper in his lap. He would flash his eyes up to the camera for a second and then look right back down to his notes. That's when I rolled my eyes and changed the channel. He is definitely out of his league. For the most part College Gameday is a solid, well informed show, and he is the football Jerry Springer.

That's what I'm hoping. No way they could botch that hire so bad. I have no idea why he's getting air time now though. He adds nothing of value to the show.

that sometimes happens when you add an extra hour of show time. he could be just a filler

I think spurrier would be the perfect replacement for corso
and would prolly draw equal hate from many vols fans

I'm pretty sure the hate for Spurrier has diminished quite a bit in the decade since he left UF. I for one kind of like him now, even though he still coaches an SEC opponent.

Plus I'd love to see him make snide remarks about other teams all the time.

Oh man, that would be great. Can't think of a better replacement off the top of my head. But would he give up those Saturday morning tee times?
