I was watching the WKU/UofL basketball game saturday. Len Elmore was calling the game. They where talking about charlie strong becoming the new coach at U of L. They went back and forth about the number of lack there of mionority coaches in college football. He then went on to say you have a program like Tennessee who has a opening for head coach and does not even consider a minority for the job. I was amazed he happen to pick tennessee out of all the other possible schools. I was just amazed by that. And to think i use to like him.

UT would have been more than glad to consider a black coach had there been any available who were qualified. STFU Elmore. I also remember Spencer Tillman ripped UT for not hiring Strong. He can STFU as well.

I thought I read where somewhere(I'm thinking "On Rocky Top") that Turned Gil supposedly interviewed either by phone or in person? I believe by phone.

Len Elmore is one of the worst basketball commentators on TV. He is just awful and I cant believe somebody actually pays this clown...he needs to stick to basketball and not mouth off about something else he knows nothing about..

The rule about interviewing a black coach is stupid. If the coach has a chance at a job, he'll get an interview.

Elmore's comments are really racist when you think about it. He apparently chooses to forget that we had the first black major coach in this conference in Wade Houston. These people need to get a life.

Dude u can chill with that Talk!!!! Look I am Black Love UT Football and think that coach Kiffin was (and is)the right hire ! And futhermore If things weren't going on in the past like hiring someone that was qualified,but hiring someone else that wasn't quailifed no of these watch dogs would be around! let stick to these things Football,UT, and recruiting! Go Vols

Look I can't stand Obama not because he is black, but because he is a DA** Socialist PRI** hell bent on HUGE GOVENMENT!!!!! But guess what i'm a Racist when I say I can't stand him in public.. When I meet people trully from Africa they act nothing like the blacks do, who have been in this country their whole lives. We have become an intitlement society PATHEDIC!!!!!!!!!!!
