We once had a running back room of Jamal Lewis, Travis Henry and Travis Stephens. Seems like that would never happen now.

John Kelly, Alvin Kamara, and Jalen Hurd, three NFL draft picks, all in the same room not too long ago.

Most positions I’d agree, you don’t want to split reps with someone else for your spot, much less two guys. But for running backs, they’ve got a limited amount of wear & tear and carries in them before they start to lose a step. If you can split time with someone else at that position, you save more of those yards for the next level and extend your career and earnings.
