The thing is, we don't know if this statement was fact or supposition. If he was simply stating fact, then yes, Cam Newton would have been the third LSU QB along with Lee and Jefferson.

But we really have no way of knowing what Les meant by the statement. Nor, for that matter, does he.

That's what I was thinking. I mean, really? Cam is better than Jefferson and "Pick Six" Lee combined and then some.
