SB Nation listed Art Briles and Tom Herman as two coaches that LSU has already reached out to.

Art has a bad tag on him from Baylor. I hope LSU has more class than that.

LSU having class? Maybe. They are not Florida.

But Briles would be a better option for them than Kiffin. If you are looking at it from the class factor, and from wins/losses. As a HC at the Raiders, Tennessee and USC, did Kiffin leave any of those programs in better shape than when he arrived? He said he did here, but who in Tennessee agrees? Yeah, Briles has some issues to get past, but he isn't Joey Freshwater.

What I want to know is if we have any shot with any of their recruits? Hopefully their class falls apart and we benefit from the windfall.

Their top recruit I believe is from Tennessee so..

I'm not sure I agree on Auburn. I guess you want them to be able to recruit against bama and weaken bama but we go head to head against Auburn a lot in recruiting. We go after Georgia kids against them and Clemson a lot.

Interesting dynamic there.

I guess I view Auburn as a necessary evil. They help to keep Bama in check but not sure they help us to get stronger.
