Les Miles reply to Clay Travis' question...

I enjoy listening to Blaine.I guess I would like Clay more if he would stop trying to sound like he knows what he's talking about.Just be honest and say I'm a spoiled little boy that sucked at being a lawyer, and sucks on the radio....now his Blogs are pretty good I must admit, but then I don't have to listen to his whiny voice.

Clay's a smart guy but he's not "in the know" anymore than the majority of fans that really follow Tennessee football.

You're right, if he'd just admit he's a "shock" guy and not some insider, he'd be more tolerable.

Clay can be annoying, but he is way better than Plaster and his merry band of imbeciles.

Agree x10. I cant pick up AM at my work so I'm forced to listen to an hour of his over the edge stupidity. The only saving grace is that he now has to bite his tongue about anything UT.

I've tried to listen to Thom Abraham in the car but I just cant. Too spastic. I wish 560 would put King and Biddle back to drive time. Like them or not, King knows recruiting.

Clay Travis continues to be an attention seeking pundit. Remember, he's the guy at last year's media day that asked Tebow if he was still a virgin.

If I had a law degree, married a former Titan cheerleader, written three books (two of which sold pretty well), had a national sports column, and now radio show, I might sound like a know it all. Just saying.

The Nashville market is terrible when it comes to sports talk. Clay Travis is a moron, as is pretty much everyone on 104.5. Bill King used to be ok until he jumped on the Bama and Florida bandwagon, according to him one of them will win every SEC Championship.

Clay used to be very funny when he wrote for CBS Sportsline. (Dixieland Delight is still a must read for all SEC fans.) After he left there and went more on his own with Deadspin and Fanhouse he's tried to be too much of a lightning rod and his stuff is not nearly as funny. See Bill Simmons, South Park, etc.

However, the Les Miles interview is pure gold.

Yepper. While 104 isnt the flagship station of the Titans they are the sister station. Its sad when their so-called NFL expert is a reporter from Houston. Its one thing to report on who the starting RB will be or how Andre Johnson is progressing for Hou. Its another to tell Nashville the insides of the Titans organization. He's the same guy that told Nashville not to worry because the Titans and McNair would sign a contact before the start of the season. Idiot.

Bill King is good and much easier to listen to than Plaster & Co but he's all college/little pro. Someone called in yesterday asking about the Titans OL and his answer was pure generic.

He'll speak his mind and I dont doubt he's touting Bummer or G-ters. He will also do whatever's needed for ratings. When gator Jay passed away one of his quotes was he was "good radio". He stirred the pot with his rambles which lit up the phone lines with anti-gterds. Its also one of the reasons he's about the only show that still lets Small Mike on.

Tough question for a football coach. Think that Clay thought that Les was a politician. Not a Les Miles fan, but come on. What does that have to do with LSU football?

Miles isn't the brightest guy, but he is a football coach. He probably expected to field questions about football.

please do not defend this buffoon. That answer was bordering on something out of 'dumb and dumber'. That is true LSUFreek material right there.

I do find it amusing that when Miles was winning big games he was the "Crazy Cajun"/"Mad Scientist" who knew how to push the line and had ballz of steel. Now he is just a blubbering idiot.

Dude I like clay travis, I have met him personally twice and he is a very cool cat. I enjoy the 3 hour lunch show guys. Clay brings a bit of Howard Stern to the show you never know what he's gonna say next just to piss you off or crack you up. I've also enjoyed reading two of his books.

I listening to plaz at 3 he's old school but I like him super nice guy by the way. I remember listening to Bob Bell & Bill King on 1510 am when I was a young Ladd I've been a sports radio junkie for years lol

There is no way a intelligent coherent man who is making millions per year can answer the way Les Miles did this,, He is either 1. bordering on exhaustion 2. taking sleeping pills, 3. hitting the bottle hard, or 4. suffering from early alzheimers.
