Yep, just double checked it. There is a Check in the offer box for UT for Hood.

If your a Rivals subscriber you'll see it.

Hood will have a scholly offer from UT if Tyler or Hopson goes pro but right now he doesn't have an offer. You can't offer something you don't have.

Dude I swear I can see it too, but he can't have an offer yet. He has probably been promised an offer when one of them leave early but it isn't an official offer yet.

Rivals is good but it's not 100% all the time.

I know that Pearl offered Hood a scholarship on the field at a football game this past year. He has an offer but we probably wont pursue him hard enough for him to commit to us. Every school offers multiple players regardless of the amount that they have.. However, it will be McDonald first and foremost. If McDonald opts elsewhere, Hood or another prospect will be next priority.

If he was offered at a football game it had to be a conditional offer.

Maybe if we started actually saying his name correctly we'd have a better shot. It's Dominic Cheek, no "s" at the end.

Duke is most likely going to offer Jon now that a scholly has opened up. And according to many recruiting analysts, Jon will most likely commit on spot. I would be very happy with Hood and Mason so far. But I hope K waits it out to pull the trigger on Hood because of our recent interest in Favors.

Cheek is a big time Rutgers lean. IF we miss out on McDonald, Hood is there. And yes it probably was a conditional offer. Also, you never know what will happen when the coaches go out to scout players. .. Other names will probably emerge.

Coach K will have to make up big time ground to get Favors. Right now he probably isn't leaving the state. I'm not saying he wont or it can't be done, but just that he will have to work HARD. If Duke lands Favors, I will be big time impressed.

Umm, Rutgers is the team to beat right now according to a bunch of people. They are a team on the rise and have Mike Rosario, a Mcdonalds all american, coming in next year. They also snagged Duke's top post target for '09.
