I took UK. Not that I think they're the better team. In terms of talent, they are not. But LSU is in disarray, and Stoops has UK believing in themselves. Plus they are at home. Orgeron has lost the confidence of his team, and Stoops has his believing in themselves. This is the difference in this game. IMO, Ed Orgeron is living on borrowed time. His stints at USC and Ole Miss define him more than one good year at LSU. A pair of Joe's had more to do with the NC than Ed did. And the LSU faithful are learning that now.
Low scoring game. UK in a close one. If I'm wrong, and LSU shows up pissed off, then they mop the floor with UK. But if the LSU team we've seen to this point, and the UK team we've seen to this point, square off, then UK takes it.
Which is good for UT, since we will have the honor of putting UK back in their place when we smoke them, in Lexington, on November 6th. Forget the UF game; UF beat themselves. UK has not seen anything like this offense, and I think we embarrass them in their stadium...if we can keep our OL relatively intact. End of the year, and after we face Bama and UGA. That's the "X factor".
But if our OL is intact, we take them down a notch. Again.
Go Vols.
