They are bigger, faster, stronger, more talented, and are at home. They are the two time National Champions. They have the advantage at the most important position-QB. Defensively, they are flat out nasty. We have the advantage on the offensive line, and we break even at running back, and the kicking game. Alabama will place this game square on the shoulders of Worley. They will press our receivers in man to man coverage, and blitz from every angle. They will attempt to limit Neal and Lane. The key for us is to be able to run the football well and for Worley to take shots in the passing game that Alabama gives us. Alabama will show a cover 2 look and at the snap" melt back" and bring pressure. Worley will have to read and throw the underneath flat-curl's and hook curls in the middle. Alabama will give us opportunities over the top in press coverage. We must take some shots and have time to throw it. The key for us defensively is to stop McCarron and the passing game. I see us bringing pressure with our front four only and throwing a lot of different looks with our linebackers and secondary. Momentum is important. This should be a great one. Good luck.

This game, just like 99% of most football games will be won or lost in the trenches. This is the only reason we have a chance. Let's hope our O-line continues where it left off last weeks game by exerting its will early. The emergence of Big Dan and the other D-linemen give me some hope. Expect to be surprised.

We are going to be in this game late.

If I read this right you think we are even at RB with Bama? You serious? I mean I love me some Neal this year, but they have 3 RBs who could easily start for 3/4 the NCAA teams in the country. Their 3rd stringer in Henry broke all kinds of records in high school and Yeldon is one of the best RB in the country. Again, I love what Neal has done here this year and wouldn't trade him for the world, but to say we are even at RB is a bit much.

Think just a little before posting like this. So Neal has 30+ more carries and leads Yeldon by 30+ yards. Did you happen to also see how many yards both Drake and Henry have? They have combined for 600 yards. So, let's see if Yeldon rushed the ball for 70% of the carries as Neal does here, he'd have about 400+ more yards at this point.

I think our defense is going to be ready to play. The only thing that worries me is tackling in space. Its going to come down to QB play. If we do establish the run though I like our chances of at least being there at the end.

I wasn't trying to say he wasn't good, but if we had a better pass game at the beginning of the year is it safe to say Neal's numbers would also be better? It's all in the big picture, you know passing game does affect the RB, right?

Dude you can be a smarta** all you want, but Bama is stack loaded at RB. Last game they had two RBs rush for over 100 yards and a third for over 80. We are a one threat offense. If something every happened to Neal we would be done for.

How good would Bama's running backs be behind Worley and our young receivers? I believe our offensive line and running backs have carried the load until our QB and receivers have caught up. I wouldn't take anyone over our kids.

You do know lane is back, right? I'm my opinion he finds the holes better than Neal. I definitely don't see a drop off when lane is in.

You missed my point like everyone else. We have no depth. If Lane or Neal goes down the other has to take 100% of the snaps pretty much. Bama on the other hand has a stack load of RBs they can put in without any drop off in production.

I consider a solid two man rotation pretty good depth. Yes Bama has 3 but # 3 won't likely see much meaningful action.

A one threat offense? Yeah I mean Worley never throws a TD pass right? North, Croom, Howard, Downs they are nothing. You're either just totally ignorant or plain disrespectful. We are nowhere near as deep at RB as Bama but we do have some other guys.

I meant one threat as in if Neal isn't healthy we are in trouble. All these other guys can't even see the field when both Lane and Neal are banged up. Neal goes down, we are down to Lane who isn't even 100%. You think our passing game is average now, without Neal we won't be passing the ball because Worley won't have time to get it off. You guys are about to see what happens when Worley is forced to win us games. Worley will have to play out of his mind Saturday for this game to be close late on. Bama's number one goal will be to stop Neal and our run game, and they have shown me no reason to doubt their ability to do just that.
