Let's go Tigers...

Given Josh's record it's very likely.

I don't see how a Vol could pull for UF, ever, in any sport, but to each their own.

I have to agree with you here. It's nauseating just to think of that. Blah!

Florida? Really?

UT-Memphis isn't much of a rivalry if you ask a Tennessee fan in Knoxville. A Memphis Vol will acknowledge the inferiority complex that Memphis fans have for Tennessee and other area SEC schools.

Great game. I was hoping for overtime. Florida has all the pieces to make it past the second weekend this season. Prather is just unguardable, Wilbekin and Hill will dominate most back courts, and that rotating frontcourt of Finney-Smith, Yugeute (sp?) and Young will just wear teams out. Florida looks like far and away the best SEC team right now.

The pace of that game was amazing. Great conditioning on both sides.

Kasey Hill hasn't adjusted to playing against guards just as athletic as he is. He'll be dangerous when he figures it all out.

If we can keep Yeguette healthy, our frontcourt will be scary good, especially with Chris Walker joining the team.

I remain cautiously optimistic about Wilbekin laying off the weed long enough to finish his senior season...no guarantees there.

Good game, but tough loss for the Tigers. They really played hard. Questionable last play call by Josh. Give it to the smallest guard and let him try to do something against those monsters? Maybe he was hoping for a foul, or possibly a +1?

Would love to see a rematch in March, or April even!

Joe had been taking Wilbekin off the dribble at will in the second half, and Wilbekin was playing with 4 fouls. Josh knew Joe could get into the lane and make something happen. In hindsight, a pull up from 8 feet or a dish to Crawford may have been better than attacking the rim, but Joe attacks well. Little guy, but he elevates and has good body control. It's a little too much to hope for to draw the foul there, but stranger things have happened.
